Practice catch and release of flies after they have worked a shift in the pig .

Yet another way is to place  a small amount of sugar water in a glass and set it in the sun or on your table.  when flies discover it, some of then will get trapped in the water and you will be able to fish them out and put them in your hungry pig.   if flies are not getting stuck in the water when they come to the glass, quickly place a cover over it and shake it till the fly is wet , then  place him in a pig.

HAPPY HUNTING

FLYPIGS --- HELPING RID THE PLANET OF HOUSEFLIES ONE FLY AT A TIME.

There are several ways to catch a live fly.   the easiest is to put some spoiled fruit out in the sun and wait for flies to arrive.   When they do, plop a glass bowl down over them and the fruit ,or use a small aquarium net.   once the bowl is over the fruit and flies. gently squirt water with a garden hose up inside the bowl.   the flies will become wet and unable to fly where upon you retrieve them and place them in your flypig.   it may take a few minutes for the flies to dry out and begin to operate the pig.

A second method is to  catch the fly by plopping a glass or jar over it, then slip a playing card under the  glass opening.   once the fly is inside, add a teaspoon of water and shake the closed glass till the fly is wet, then pluck him out of the water and place him in the pig.

A third way to catch a fly is to use a small insect net.   You can make a net using a stocking stretched  over a piece of coat hanger  wire that has been formed into a circle. Of  course you will need to add a handle.
